Britt Wheeler’s individualized approach to training has evolved over years of exploring many styles of movement, including weight lifting, Pilates, yoga, Kettlebell training, calisthenics, and dance. She draws from all these sources to find the movements that get clients excited about the process of reaching their fitness goals. Britt’s approach is designed to inspire people to enjoy movement as a process of discovery, a catalyst for growth, and a source of inspiration.
As someone who has used movement to work through anxiety and depression, Britt’s fitness philosophy is rooted in compassion and personal empowerment. While challenging clients to constantly improve, she will also encourage changing the messages they send to their bodies through negative thoughts and emotions.
Britt is certified as a personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She recently began challenging herself through Pole fitness and dance choreography classes. She is fascinated by awesome nerdy things like behavioral and institutional economics, religious studies, and neuroscience. When she isn’t training clients, she is probably dancing, writing, thinking about dancing, or imagining someplace she wants to travel.
Most importantly, she is so excited about helping others experience their most vibrant life through movement!
